Recycling is the first step. But real value begins when a recovered material is transformed into a new product that combines sustainability, efficiency and technical performance.
This is the idea behind ecoHIT19, the Magis adhesive tape made with over 85% recycled plastic from PET bottles. Its journey starts with a simple everyday action: the correct disposal of plastic bottles.
Thanks to separate waste collection systems and dedicated solutions such as Reverse Vending Machines, PET bottles can be collected, compacted and reintroduced into new production cycles.
Compared to virgin PET, this process significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions, while reducing the need for new raw materials. Recovering polyester from bottles means giving new value to plastic waste, turning it into a resource for advanced packaging solutions. All this while maintaining extremely high performance in terms of strength, reliability and durability.
Not only that: ecoHIT19 also supports more efficient packaging processes. Thanks to its extended roll lengths, it reduces changeovers on packaging lines, helping companies save time, limit downtime and optimize their operations.
Produced with solvent-free hot melt glue, ecoHIT19 is available plain or with bespoke sandwich printing up to 8 colours. Thinner, stronger and certified, it introduces a new concept of adhesive tape for sustainable packaging.
From bottle to tape is more than a claim. It is a concrete path that shows how small gestures, responsible recycling and industrial innovation can work together to create packaging solutions with a lighter impact.
